Business transformation from start-up to organized corporation requiring establishment of process, policies, workflows, and data-driven decision-making tools to maintain deliverable quality while supporting exponential growth, including task automation and offshoring​

Identification, documentation, and optimization of critical production workflows and processes across both companies in order to drive new product development, including Third-Party Incident Response framework, Deliverable Quality Issues handling, and more

Stood up Meditology Program & Process Management Office governance to eliminate client delivery stovepipes; improved quality and timeliness of program & process performance communication and staffing forecasts to simplify and streamline schedule and budget planning across all service lines. Created Training Department from the ground up, including skills gap analysis, selection and implementation of LMS, course development framework, and L&D staff across both companies. Delivered 100+ courses to increase performance and deliverable quality of offshore and onshore staff.

NORTHERN TRUST WORKFLOW AND CONTENT MANAGEMENT (CLIENT)
​Tight budgets and fiscal year deadlines requiring expediency in connecting internal technical and business SMEs with offshore developent teams
IBM Datastage Upgrades for various client applications, such as Electronic Data Management (EDM) and Atlas. This included large-scale database component updates and messaging middleware changeover from IBM MQ to the Solace Message Bus
Experimental Thunderhead (pdf tool) version upgrade, which required comprehensive backend technology insertion, including Oracle database upgrades, IBM Websphere modifications, and more.
High-visibilitiy, external client-facing MS Sharepoint Upgrades and site redesigns to enable greater workflow-driven collaborationand document exchanges.

CONSTRUCTION
NIPSCO, NORTHERN INDIANA'S PREMIER ENERGY PROVIDER
​Budgets from $50k to $1.8m; projects included easement acquisitions, environmental impact evaluations and mitigations, and acquiring outside construction resources.
Relocated pit-type gas regulator station, including easement acquisition and open-trench construction due to municipal code requirements.
Conversion of customer-owned gas lines to company-owned assets at multiple apartment complexes in Indiana.
Open-trench and directional-drill installation of dedicated industrial gas line including 7,400’ of plastic pipe and two railroad bores in residential area.
IT
NISOURCE, A MULTI-STATE ENERGY COMPANY
Implemented Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities gas rate case order on client's distributed billing system (300,000 customers).
High-visibility application integration project that reduced client's corporate credit risk reporting error from $30m to $0.5m within 6 months; managed international team and came in 20% under budget.
Designed and built metrics definitions, database, and reporting assets to move client's IT PMO from "defined"/ "qualitatively managed" to "quantitatively managed."
Turned red Telecom Provisioning Portal project green in 6 weeks and on budget (8,000 users). Reduced average device order cycle from 30.5 to 6 days with average monthly savings of $330 per department.
AEROSPACE & DEFENSE
LOCKHEED MARTIN AND ITT MISSION SYSTEMS (NOW HARRIS)
For ITT, managed west-coast risk volume on $1.3B program with 90+ projects to modernize and maintain the Eastern and Western Spacelift Ranges at Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg Air Force Base. Through creative and proactive risk management brought in two SPOF projects 42 days early and $2.5m under budget and 48 days early and $500k under budget.
For Lockheed Martin IS&GS, managed multi-tiered risks and opportunities for $800m RSAIIA program and trained other programs on successful implementation of Risk Management Processes.
For Lockheed Martin's Range Standardization Program, designed, developed, and configured COTS-based network management systems, e.g. Agilent NETeXPERT-based Network Manager, IBM Tivoli, and AIX, Linux, and W2k-based Infrastructure for the Spacelift Ranges at Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg AFB. Managed backend databases using Oracle tools, PL/ SQL, shell scripting, Tivoli TLL and baroc.
